Joyvio suffered a loss of 394 million yuan in the first half of the year,  facing operational difficulties!

On September 2, in response to the continued losses, ST Joyvio responded on the investor interaction platform that the losses in the first half of 2024 were mainly due to the company's compliance capacity compensation and tight funds, which led to a decline in production and sales, as well as the high feed costs caused by the lag in the breeding cycle, the increase in unit fixed operating costs and the delayed transmission of inflation, which further increased the company's cage costs.

According to the data, ST Joyvio is mainly engaged in the breeding, processing and sales of high-quality protein seafood. In the first half of 2024,   ST Joyvio achieved revenue of approximately 1.885 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 26.31%; net profit loss was approximately 394 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.71%.
